About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for leading product commercialization and sustaining Aldevron’s expanding Gene Editing Therapeutic product portfolio and services
  • Manage existing clinical and commercial products & services by executing commercial launches as defined by Product Strategy
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Legal, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, and other teams to launch and manage Gene Editing products and services
  • Develop plans and pricing strategies to forecast and achieve annual orders, revenue, and margin growth objectives across the gene editing workflow
  • Manage the mid-to-late stage lifecycle of products and custom manufacturing services focusing on growth and optimization to end-of-life strategy
  • Enable Commercial teams by delivering sales training for new and on-market products

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • B.S. or B.A. required
  • An MBA or Advanced degree in a scientific field preferred (e.g. cell biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, or biochemistry)
  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing role as a product manager or a sales role with minimum of 3 years of product management experience within the life sciences, or related healthcare field
  • Experience managing products in a regulated biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device-related field is required
  • Demonstrated success in launching and sustaining excellent products
