About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in SQDCI (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation) results tied to Policy Deployment (PD) and Daily Management (DM)
- Assist site / company Leadership in developing a DBS roadmap
- Directly provide formal and informal DBS training and coaching
- Assist in achieving business unit Policy Deployment and Strategic Plan objectives
- Ensure successful kaizen events by installing and ensuring compliance to the kaizen process
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS or BA degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 14+ years of experience OR Master’s degree preferred with 12+ years of Operations or Engineering experience
- Mastery of a variety of DBS tools, especially tools related to Manufacturing continuous improvement (Lean Conversion, VRK, TPM, DMS)
- Ability to design, develop, and implement a DBS roadmap for an operating business
- Superior consulting/influencing skills, ability to work across organizations
- Superior communications skills, training skills and adult learning theory
- Good writing and administrative skills, including computer skills (word processing, graphics, spreadsheet, etc.)
