Sales Specialist
Danaher CorporationSales Specialist driving business growth in medical device sector by managing customer relationships and supporting clinical applications. Focused on expanding into pharmaceutical companies and hospitals across Western India.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive business expansion by targeting medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, OEMs, and hospitals
- Identify and develop new customer opportunities to build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline
- Manage and grow existing key accounts within the territory
- Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Continuously introduce new products and solutions to increase share of business within existing accounts
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term tactical sales plans aligned with business objectives
- Create and implement account plans to drive growth and improve market penetration
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to consistently achieve targets
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5–7 years of solid sales experience, preferably within the medical device manufacturing industry, along with experience in hospital consumables sales
- Educational qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or BSc Nursing, with an MBA preferred
- Good understanding of processes within the medical device and hospital industry, including key business trends
- Experience working with distributors and resellers in the medical market
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
- Ability to identify new opportunities, build pipelines, and drive business growth
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment
- Ability to travel – 50% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
