About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Attend supplier meetings/Visits, SBR’s, collaborate with the Materials Team, LTA’s/MSA’s negotiate and manage contract administration, improve Supplier OTD, and support site Inventory Target management
Project funnel ideation and execution, own Strategic Sourcing visual management (DVM), partner with Supplier Quality to execute supplier qualifications (FAIR, PPAP, etc.), optimize Supply Chain design to maximize adherence to DMS principles
Collaborate with Ops, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Product Management, support external customers as necessary, and drive OTD
Delivery of the Commodity Strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Engineering
3+ years’ experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supplier Relationship Management OR no degree with 5+ years of experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supplier Relationship Management
3-5 years demonstrated focus on Plastics commodities in a global manufacturing company
Proven track record of negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance
Experience utilizing electronic sourcing tools (eRFQ, eBid, eAuction, etc.)
Demonstrated experience with ERP system; Oracle/SAP preferred
