About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive the development and execution of our sourcing strategy from RFI / RFP creation
Serve as department lead on COST and SERVICE improvement initiatives
Successfully lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives with key strategic suppliers
Lead, manage, and influence projects to successful completion
Identify and execute risk mitigation and security of supply strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or Logistics, preferred
Minimum 5 years in Sourcing in Personal Care, Pharmaceutical industry or Consumer Packaged Goods industry preferred
Experience w/ managing RFI/RFP workflow through to Supplier Business award and Contract Negotiation required
Knowledge and understanding of cost drivers and ability to apply within negotiations
Ability to travel approx. 20-30% with overnight stay
