About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver district‑level orders, revenue, and margin results across the SCIEX instrument portfolio
- Own district forecasting rigor, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly order and revenue commitments
- Develop and execute district growth and action plans using DBS methodologies, visual management, and performance metrics
- Build and maintain senior‑level customer relationships and key opinion leader engagement across the West region
- Assess competitive and market dynamics, identify growth opportunities and risks, and implement timely countermeasures
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to achieve business objectives
- Lead, coach, and performance‑manage direct reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a life science–related discipline or equivalent experience in technical sales
- 5+ yrs experience leading individual contributors in a sales environment
- Experience owning sales forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline management at a district level
- Demonstrated application of structured continuous improvement or business system methodologies
- Experience leading and operating effectively within a remote, geographically dispersed organization
