About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive revenue growth and market expansion across the full Leica Biosystems portfolio within Clinical Diagnostics and Life Sciences segments
  • Build and manage a robust sales funnel, ensuring strong pipeline visibility and conversion
  • Develop and execute territory and key account strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead strategic customer engagements, including contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and multi-site partnerships
  • Drive competitive conversions and expand portfolio adoption within the installed base
  • Accelerate upselling and cross-selling across Histology, Advanced Staining, and Digital Pathology solutions
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and institutional stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Service, Applications, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to deliver customer value
  • Manage and develop channel partners/distributors to maximize regional coverage and performance
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to refine go-to-market strategies
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene (SFDC), including win/loss analysis and opportunity tracking

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors / Masters in field of Life Sciences/ Healthcare
  • Minimum of 8+ years of commercial experience in Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Healthcare, or Life Sciences
  • Experience in a combination of IVD instrumentation and consumables business
  • Exposure to government tenders process will be added advantage
  • Work experience in CRMs like SFDC
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A commercially minded professional with a track record of success in the IVD /medical device/life sciences/diagnostic industry
  • Ability to travel – 75% travel in month, within territory or locations
