About the role
- Contribute to sales strategies and account plans, as part of the core account team.
- Develop sales opportunities to create a sales funnel to meet business targets.
- Manage leads and prospects using customer relationship management software.
- Primarily focus on Filtration Consumables opportunities and surrounding single use designs within the territory.
- Support all filtration consumables products and relevant equipment to support these processes.
- Develop the sales of modality process solutions in the assigned sales region/territory.
- Provide high level technical expertise during pre-sales discussions and customer training.
- Lead technical and process related discussions with customer Subject Matter Experts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or relevant field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with filtration and downstream processing preferred
- Strong communication skills – English written and spoken, French spoken would be an asset.
- Problem solving skills applied to customer processes
- Data analysis – performance and sales trend reporting
- Ability to travel – 30 % travel, overnight, within territory or locations
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 35lb
