About the role
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing Service Sales team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build and execute a strategic and tactical growth plan to achieve sales targets and deliver profitable growth across the full service portfolio.
- Ensure 100% forecasting accuracy for weekly, monthly, and quarterly intervals across the assigned district.
- Establish and maintain a strong, unified team environment, ensuring the expansion and retention of customer relationships across the region.
- Continuously assess competitive and market dynamics to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and deploy effective countermeasures.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Sales Administration, Finance, IT, HR, and Legal to ensure alignment, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Develop and coach team members through regular performance reviews, feedback, and individualized development plans to strengthen career growth and succession readiness.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of successful experience in sales leadership, demonstrating capability in driving performance and developing talent.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Life Sciences or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills, including the ability to gather, interpret, and present data clearly
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing sales teams in a matrixed environment, demonstrating sustained performance and results.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and articulate SCIEX’s value proposition effectively
- Demonstrated ability to assess competitive landscapes, interpret market conditions, and guide teams to achieve sales targets.
- Experience with Life Science products, scientific instrumentation, or related markets; SCIEX software or hardware experience is a plus.
