About the role

  • Lead and manage engineering projects and design changes from concept through to implementation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process capability analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational excellence.
  • Identifying high-impact issues (“top hitters”) and utilizing data-driven approaches to pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • Conducting comprehensive data analyses to develop and implement continuous improvement projects.
  • Collaborating closely with the digitization team to ensure accurate collection, recording, and secure storage of process data.
  • Managing all stages of process validation, including development of User Requirement Specifications (URS), performing Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (pFMEA), and executing IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Manufacturing/Production or Process Engineering or similar and extensive experience in manufacturing processes (+5 years).
  • Strong project leadership skills and knowledge of project management tools (e.g. Miro, Smartsheet).
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/DBS, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of data analysis, automation tools (e.g. Power BI, Power Automate), CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English and German.
  • A plus would be: Experience in ISO 13485.
  • Experience with PLC SW (Programmable Logic Controller).
