About the role
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
- Conduct supplier assessments
- Attend supplier meetings/visits
- Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Negotiate and manage contract administration
- Monitor market trends & industry developments
- Partner with Supplier Quality to execute supplier qualifications
- Deliver the Metals Commodity Strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Engineering
- 3+ years’ experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supplier Relationship Management
- 2+ years demonstrated focus on Metals commodities
- Strong knowledge of the Metals market, including materials, processes, pricing dynamics, and supplier landscape.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance.
- Ability to travel up to 25% including some limited international travel.
