About the role

  • Advising and supporting research customers and channel partners/dealers in confocal microscopy
  • Conducting sales conversations with confidence
  • Supporting regional dealers and distributors in advanced confocal microscopy projects
  • Providing intensive support to core imaging facilities and key institutes within the sales region
  • Generating leads through marketing activities, product presentations, and workshops
  • Supplying sales management and marketing with insights on market share development, competitor activities, trends, and market dynamics

Requirements

  • University degree in biology or a related life science field
  • Several years of sales experience in the life sciences or advanced biology industry
  • Hands-on experience in microscopy and specialized microscopic techniques, particularly confocal microscopy, with strong technical understanding
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; German language skills are a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
