About the role
- Nurturing and maximizing current customer relationships and cultivating new or competitive accounts.
- Creating and executing a territory plan to deliver year-over-year install base and core growth directed by annual performance objectives and quota.
- Focusing on three primary markets: Medical, Research & Education (MRE), Industry customers, and the Veterinary segment.
- Utilizing the CRM system to maintain accurate sales funnel, customer contacts, activities and forecast for your territory.
- Introducing new business to Radiometer product lines while driving favorable pricing and contract coordination per the company’s growth objectives.
- Planning, organizing and executing sales calls and lead key accounts throughout the sales cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required – Scientific/Business major or other scientific major preferred.
- 5+ years sales experience in medical diagnostics, veterinary diagnostics, medical device or academia and research.
- Background must include capital equipment sales.
- Strong understanding of BioProcess, therapeutic drug development, veterinary and agriculture market experience a plus.
- An understanding of business management systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), database and CRM.
- Ability to travel – estimated at 50-70% or greater including some overnight travel(10-15 state territory) and 10% of travel being outside of the US
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs
