About the role
- Act as a sparring partner to the business aligning regional people practices with global business objectives
- Understand business needs and provide HR solutions that contribute to these goals
- Lead HR activities at various business sites
- Partner with business unit leaders
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance in areas such as talent acquisition, leadership coaching, employee counseling, performance management, etc.
- Collaborate with the global HR organization and drive improvements while ensuring legal compliance
- Partner with Global HR Centers of Excellence (COE) for strategic HR initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in HR or Business Administration or equivalent
- Min 5 years of experience as HR Business Partner/Manager in Austria & multi-countries
- Previous exposure and knowledge of labor laws in various countries, including UK, Austria, Germany, and Belgium
- Utilization of continuous improvement best practices (DBS, Lean Six Sigma or other methodologies)
- Broad understanding of human resources, including recruiting, talent management, organizational design/development, succession planning, leadership development, compensation and associate communications
- Change/project management experience in multi-cultural environment
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- German and English language proficiency is a must; additional languages, especially French, are very welcome.
