About the role
- Develop and execute BEC LS’s sustainability roadmap aligned with Danaher objectives
- Create standardized sustainability policies and tools; ensure global compliance with environmental regulations (EPA, EU directives, ISO 14001) through permitting, audits, and reporting
- Implement Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and leverage the Danaher Business System (DBS) to deliver energy, water, and waste reduction initiatives
- Integrate sustainability into business decisions and product design through training, communications, and change management
- Conduct global environmental audits and risk assessments; track regulatory changes and prepare sustainability disclosures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field with 7+ years in environmental management
- Certifications: CSP, CEM, PMP; ISO 14001 Lead Auditor or equivalent preferred; EPA or equivalent country-specific environmental certification
- Technical Expertise: Air/water/waste regulations, hazardous materials management, sustainability frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, CDP)
- Process Improvement: Six Sigma Master Black Belt, LEAN OpEx, Value Stream Mapping
