About the role
- Implement the Danaher Innovation Playbook and develop the DBS Road Map
- Implement and sustain Danaher Innovation processes and tools, including Strategic Innovation Review and Product Planning Group
- Actively lead VPM installation, Kaizens, PSPs, and Daily Management reviews
- Promote and facilitate diagnosis of workflow impediments and wastes
- Provide and facilitate formal and informal DBS training and coaching
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of direct report Danaher Business System Leaders (DBSLs)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science or Engineering
- 14+ years of experience in Product Development
- a master’s degree preferred and 12+ years of Product Development experience
- Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a “general manager’s” point of view
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement Innovation DBS roadmap for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics
- Mastery of a variety of Innovation and Fundamental DBS tools
- Superior communication, training, consulting and influencing skills
- Ability and willingness to travel 25% - 50%, domestically and internationally
- Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
