About the role
- Create and identify new business opportunities within large enterprise organisations that support the achievement of your sales targets
- Create, maintain and execute strategic account and opportunity plans to ensure structured development and an organised approach
- Develop pipelines through strategic and targeted planning
- Engage various stakeholders which often includes procurement and commercial departments to establish the project needs and delivery requirements
- Manage all customer engagement, solutions definition, bid negotiation, pricing and closure activity
Requirements
- 10 years’ experience in a Global Account Manager role selling multi-vendor ICT infrastructure solutions or Managed Service/outsourced solutions
- A track record of identifying, managing, negotiating and closing substantial IT/Communications service, managed service, consultancy or solution based contracts
- Extremely organised and disciplined with excellent communication skills and a realistic approach to pipeline evaluation
- An astute, commercially aware individual with a naturally inquisitive streak with the ability to overcome obstacles and simplify complexity
- Experience working to achieve sales targets and meeting management expectations in terms of accurate forecasting and activity planning
- Self-motivated individual who can thrive in a home office environment.
