About the role

  • Create and identify new business opportunities within large enterprise organisations that support the achievement of your sales targets
  • Create, maintain and execute strategic account and opportunity plans to ensure structured development and an organised approach
  • Develop pipelines through strategic and targeted planning
  • Engage various stakeholders which often includes procurement and commercial departments to establish the project needs and delivery requirements
  • Manage all customer engagement, solutions definition, bid negotiation, pricing and closure activity

Requirements

  • 10 years’ experience in a Global Account Manager role selling multi-vendor ICT infrastructure solutions or Managed Service/outsourced solutions
  • A track record of identifying, managing, negotiating and closing substantial IT/Communications service, managed service, consultancy or solution based contracts
  • Extremely organised and disciplined with excellent communication skills and a realistic approach to pipeline evaluation
  • An astute, commercially aware individual with a naturally inquisitive streak with the ability to overcome obstacles and simplify complexity
  • Experience working to achieve sales targets and meeting management expectations in terms of accurate forecasting and activity planning
  • Self-motivated individual who can thrive in a home office environment.
