About the role

  • You review existing bugs and assigned tasks in Jira.
  • You develop new UI components in React to present complex medical data and AI suggestions clearly and intuitively.
  • You optimize the user experience (UX) in close collaboration with our subject-matter experts so that billing processes run more smoothly.
  • You integrate GraphQL APIs (e.g., from our FastAPI backend) and ensure data is processed correctly in real time.
  • You write unit tests for your components and participate in code reviews to maintain high software quality.

Requirements

  • You are a enrolled student in a technical degree program (Computer Science, Medical Informatics, Design with a tech focus, or similar).
  • You have strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • You have practical experience in frontend development with React.
  • You have an eye for design and usability (UX/UI).
  • Basic knowledge of backend systems (e.g., Quarkus or FastAPI) is a plus but not required.
  • You communicate confidently in English and have good German skills (B-level).
  • You are available to work at least 15 hours per week.
  • As we work as a remote team, you demonstrate a structured, independent work style and proactive problem-solving skills.
