About the role
- Build, maintain and ensure the quality of medical knowledge for DRG coding
- Standardize coding processes using AI-supported workflows
- Prototype new workflows
- Act as a subject-matter sparring partner between product and engineering teams
- Participate in product testing, feedback analysis, and strategic prioritization
- Coordinate a team of annotators
Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in human medicine or a comparable healthcare qualification
- Interest in technological innovation and initial experience with AI tools
- Structured working style, analytical thinking, and the ability to systematically organize medical knowledge
- Strong communication skills in interdisciplinary contexts
- Ownership mentality, self-initiative, and the ability to prioritize with limited resources
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of the DRG system, including ICD, OPS, coding guidelines, and MD review processes
- Experience in medical controlling
- IT knowledge or further training in medical informatics
- Experience as a project manager on a software project
