About the role
- You will work on the further development of our hair clip — from design refinements and material testing to injection-molded prototypes.
- You will collaborate closely with injection molding prototype manufacturers and production partners.
- Your responsibilities include, in particular: further development of the shape, ergonomics, and flexibility of the hair clip
- Analysis and optimization of material behavior (e.g., flexible plastics / elastomers)
- Development of new geometries and mechanisms for better grip with maximum comfort
- Collaboration with injection molding prototyping partners (DFM, wall thicknesses, demolding, etc.)
- Creation of CAD models and iterative design iterations
- Development of design variants and new product lines
- Definition of colors, surfaces (CMF) and material aesthetics
- Support for prototype testing and product improvements
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Design / Product Design or equivalent
- Experience with plastic products and injection molding manufacturing
- Strong sense for form, ergonomics, and lifestyle product design
- Experience with CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino or similar tools)
- Interest in consumer products / accessories / wearables
- Ideally experience with flexible materials or elastic structures
- Nice to have: experience with CMF (Color, Material, Finish)
- Experience with accessories, beauty products, or wearables
- Experience with prototyping (3D printing / soft tooling / rapid injection molding)
