About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Leverage sales experience to strategically build relationships
  • Understand and successfully articulate the benefits of indoor LED displays as compared to other technologies
  • Proactively cold call AV Integrators to educate on Daktronics products
  • Develop strategy to on-board target integrators
  • Collaborate with AV Sales team to gather market intelligence
  • Understand project and customer needs, organize, and involve appropriate sales and support teams
  • Develop and present dynamic presentations in various settings
  • Develop weekly sales plan
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage accounts, sales opportunities, and customer management functions
  • Daily use of Salesforce to manage accounts, sales opportunities, leads, and all customer management functions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, technical area, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgement
  • Must be able to travel by air and ground and comply with the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to meet all workplace safety requirements
  • Prefer 3-5 years of field sales experience including negotiating and purchase agreements
  • Experience selling to or working in the Audio-Visual Industry is a plus
  • Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, and LinkedIn
  • Previous experience using Salesforce is a plus
