About the role
- Act as an expert in control systems, explain best practices, and topic-specific assistance as needed.
- Build client relationships and manage those relationships to create trust and confidence, provide proactive support, and assist with escalated support for complex technical issues.
- Assist services groups including account managers & tech support with customer inquiries regarding workflow or operation.
- Sales of professional services or control system enhancements directly to our customers.
- Assisting internal customers on new large-scale projects. Activities include presentations, demos, consulting, advising, pricing, installation support and preliminary designs for LED display control systems.
- Utilize technology and technique to help our customers achieve their vision and production goals.
- Support internal customers/services by ensuring a shared understanding of customer vision.
- Travel to customer sites and offices and build a strong relationship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering technology, computer engineering technology, technical management, or a technical or business field.
- Product knowledge will include video systems, electronic message centers, LCD displays, direct view LED displays, and frontend control equipment for all product offerings.
- Prefer experience with control room, live event production, and programmatic scheduling.
- Strong Communication skills including verbal and written skills, interpersonal, ability to develop and present winning presentations of Daktronics products and services.
- Fluent in English, written and verbal.
- Experience selling product values and features.
- Valid driver’s license.
