About the role

  • Identify, target, and close new national account opportunities across c-store, retail, QSR, hospitality, healthcare, financial services, corporate, and other enterprise verticals.
  • Develop and execute a national sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct discovery, needs analyses, and solution presentations to C-level executives, marketing leaders, IT teams, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Build positive relationships with national sign companies that serve these brands and engage with both direct and channel sales models as appropriate.
  • Manage complex enterprise sales cycles, including RFP responses, solution design coordination, pricing proposals, and contract negotiation.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to align offerings with customer needs.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to influence product development and strategy.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and partner programs to grow brand presence and generate leads.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated sales experience selling to executive level influencers.
  • At least five (5) years of national accounts field sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, technical area, or a related field.
  • Communication skills including good verbal and written skills, ability to develop and present winning presentations of Daktronics products and services and negotiate contracts favorable to Daktronics.
  • Work schedule may include evenings and weekends for presentations, trade shows and meetings.
  • Computer skills to best utilize Sales Force, Microsoft Office, web navigation and internal electronic systems.
  • Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment.
  • Ability to travel by air and ground.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to meet and maintain Daktronics Driving Eligibility Requirements.
  • Motor vehicle records will be checked.
  • Ability to travel for at least four (4) continuous days approximately once per month.
  • Ability to travel throughout North America (Canada/United States).
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
