About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the global process owner for the Base Rollout Process (BROP)
- Develop and maintain the BROP framework, standards, policies, templates, and governance model
- Support the long-term roadmap for BROP as it aligns with release process maturity and Software Defined Vehicle initiatives
- Ensure release management processes remain scalable across vehicle programs, domains, and regions
- Establish global governance mechanisms to drive process adherence and quality
- Define process entry and exit criteria, release readiness requirements, and decision frameworks
- Conduct process assessments and audits to identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead collaboration efforts across global engineering, validation, cybersecurity, systems engineering, and product organizations
- Monitor and report on release management metrics, operational metrics, and process maturity indicators
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by establishing feedback loops and driving sustainable process adoption
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in software development, software quality, release management, systems engineering, or related technical disciplines
- Experience defining, implementing, or governing software lifecycle processes
- Experience working within complex cross-functional technical organizations
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and software release methodologies
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives and organizational change efforts
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
