About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for day-to-day business/sales activities with respect to generation of new business and renewals of insurance for Point of Sales products
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with DTFS Regional Sales Director/Regional Managers, DTFS District Finance Managers, and key dealer personnel
  • Understand customer’s insurance needs and provide solutions
  • Generate and meet insurance revenue and business goals for DTFS/DTIA
  • Develop, implement, and roll out products to dealers in coordination with marketing and sales teams
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to assist with financial feasibility studies, proposal development, and negotiations for new business opportunities
  • Provide training for PoS products to internal teams and dealer sales, finance, and insurance teams
  • Communicate with customers regarding account service needs, including policies, endorsements, audits, proofs of coverage, and cancellations
  • Maintain updated client and policy information in the agency management system
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to identify relevant insurance products

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Property & Casualty License (PRC) required
  • Experience with commercial transportation, trucking, fleet, or commercial vehicle insurance programs
  • Proven track record of producing revenue results
  • A background with increasing levels of cross functional responsibility in marketing, product management, channels, and business development
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong critical thinking, time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
