About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and use commodity strategies as the basis for supplier selection, cost reduction, margin improvement, and overall supply chain management
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement strategies with organizational goals
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure favorable agreements for the organization
Negotiate the most effective long term programs for DTNA - including supplier commitments for production pricing that will differentiate DTNA in the marketplace
Resolve commercial operational issues in a timely manner with suppliers including pricing and contractual terms
Support and monitor results reporting through global business systems
Contribute to the professionalization of the organization by implementing best practices in procurement, supplier relationship management, and cross functional collaboration
Collaborate with team members to enhance overall procurement processes and efficiency
Prepare presentations and present to senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/BSE level degree in business, supply and logistics, finance, economics, engineering, materials science or related technical discipline and 2-4 years of relevant experience OR 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Previous work experience in commodity management, procurement, contracting, materials management, logistics, manufacturing, quality, account management
Ability to take charge and lead tasks to completion
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to evaluate and select suppliers using analytical tools
Experience with contracts, cost structures as well as business and economic issues
Supplier negotiation experience
Strong organizational and planning skills and the demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects
Ability to prioritize and allocate resources to align with department and company goals
Proven track record to deliver results and achieve goals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to create strong working relationships
Must be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business
Proficient with all applications within Microsoft Office
Fluent in English both written and verbal
