About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

designing and driving the implementation of new IT solutions
managing service operations and service delivery of existing solutions
evaluating technology standards, tools/products and solutions
making rational design decisions from business and technical perspectives
participating in business areas engagements in the analysis, planning, and execution of IT-enabled business solutions
defining guidelines and recommendations based on leading industry practices
overseeing and addressing customer issues/tickets
collaborating with other solution architects, DBAs and IT Infrastructure in the timely resolution and prevention of future incidents
ensuring DevOps adoption for faster, agile service delivery
developing strong and productive relationships with business partners, colleagues and management
keeping up-to-date on newer frameworks and architecture in emerging technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/BA in Computer/Information Science or Information Technology
5 years of relevant experience developing and supporting IT application as solutions architect
Deep knowledge of Microservices architecture
Hands-on experience implementing Web Services (RESTful)
Hands-on experience with Java and J2EE Technologies (JMS, JDBC, SQL, XML, JSP JMS, XML, XPath and XSLT, JSON)
Experience building, configuring and deploying services on containers such as Web Sphere, JBOSS and Tomcat
Deep knowledge of SOA principles, design patterns, application and integration architectures
Experience with Webservice Security specifications, WS-Security, WS-Policy, SAML, etc.
Practical application debugging and troubleshooting skills
Experience with UI Frameworks – Angular and React
Experience conducting proof-of-concept, developing prototyping and building reference models.
