About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives for 7 Manufacturing locations across US and Mexico
- Ensure the right management of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks through outsource suppliers
- Oversee data center/server rooms operations, ensuring high availability and performance of critical systems
- Owns end user service support and experience (~10k users)
- Act as a liaison across cross functional teams i.e. IAM, Network, DC
- Implement and manage service management processes, including incident management, problem management, and change management
- Lead IT operations, including system administration, monitoring, and maintenance
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and vendors, ensuring service level agreements are met and developing a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with Global DTAG standards and regulations related to IT infrastructure
- Act as the first point of contact for any IT related demand
- Ensure that Cybersecurity policies are followed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management
- At least 5 years in a managerial/leadership role
- Must have experience working in Manufacturing Operations with 24/7 support models for 7 years
- Proven experience in managing networks, data centers, and IT operations
- Strong knowledge of service management principles and practices (ITIL)
- Experience in managing external suppliers and vendors
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in Continuous improvement (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, TQM)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and hands on
