About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and document software architecture and concepts for technical and non-technical requirements
- Ensure scalability and efficiency of our software
- Ensure usage of our software in our global products
- Align CI/CD toolchain with internal and external stakeholders
- Research solutions and best practices within and outside the automotive industry
- Debugging of functional and non-functional issues
- Provide resolutions for issues
- Coordinate globally, internal and external stakeholders incl. supplier
- Organize software development process across the entire driver experience domain
- Coach and mentor team members and colleagues on all aspects of development – from methodologies to execution
- Create documentation, reports, presentations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field, and 5-7 years in software development, is required
- Expertise in software development and embedded software development using agile methods
- Experience with Android, Kanzi, Matlab/Simulink
- Experience in service oriented architectures
- Experience with identifying and solving the root cause of complex problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented, reliable, and self-motivated
- Strong skills in communication and team coordination across global teams (considering different cultural backgrounds) especially with the US, Germany, and India
- Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and ongoing change
- Positive and collaborative attitude
