About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with Product Validation, Product Strategy, Project Management, and Compatibility for creation & maintenance of virtual non-production and production serial orders in the sales systems (VOP) and mainframe (IMACS) to meet the needs of the Engineering PAR project.
  • Review compatibility rules impacting Project Serials, determine root cause of the issue and facilitate a timely resolution to ensure smooth project launch.
  • Responsible for Product Validation & Manufacturing Engineering Trucks and Sales Cabs, collaborating with PVE, Product Strategy and Engineering to ensure vehicles meet all testing requirements over the validation cycle.
  • Perform Engineering order translations on orders and process necessary spec / ECF updates on all project serials to ensure correct data codes, content, and resolve any frame layout conflicts through communication with EPM & PS.
  • Evaluate and update department tools, processes and procedures in order to continuously improve.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience; OR an Associates degree and 5 years of related experience, is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
  • Strong truck product knowledge.
  • Effective communicator with good networking skills required.
  • Thrives on getting the details right, accuracy, and precision.
  • Sales Order Processing & Databook, Engineering & Manufacturing Release, Product Definitions, and Vehicle Specs experience.
  • Adaptable to a variable customer service-oriented work environment fielding dozens of customer requests per day.
  • Expert knowledge of Engineering IMACS screens and processes required.
  • Experience with full cycle product development at DTNA (PAR projects).
  • Strong Continuous Improvement mindset.
