About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review, analyze, and process transactions within DTNA’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Workday
  • Monitor and maintain, with a customer service mindset, DTNA’s Workforce Administration pool email
  • Provide process guidance to OPT departments that interface with DTNA’s HRIS system
  • Maintain a customer service mindset while managing shared e-mail box inquiries
  • Provide feedback on core HR processes to help identify process improvements
  • Maintain employee service dates, union seniority dates, step progression dates, etc.
  • Responsible for DTNA's time off policy
  • Perform workforce audits and identify required corrections to ensure data accuracy
  • Partner with Daimler Global Org to support consistency between local and global HR systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Customer Service and/or HR generalist or related field experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with quickly changing environments
  • Customer focused with a growth and process improvement mind-set
  • Ability to effectively interact and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Ability to communicate clearly and problem solve
  • Ability to critically examine data and information for accuracy prior to processing
  • Ability to work discretely with sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to approach work with a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and strong follow-up skills
  • HR Generalist experience
  • Workday experience
  • Experience with Excel
  • Familiarity with both union and non-union work groups
