About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review, analyze, and process transactions within DTNA’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Workday
- Monitor and maintain, with a customer service mindset, DTNA’s Workforce Administration pool email
- Provide process guidance to OPT departments that interface with DTNA’s HRIS system
- Maintain a customer service mindset while managing shared e-mail box inquiries
- Provide feedback on core HR processes to help identify process improvements
- Maintain employee service dates, union seniority dates, step progression dates, etc.
- Responsible for DTNA's time off policy
- Perform workforce audits and identify required corrections to ensure data accuracy
- Partner with Daimler Global Org to support consistency between local and global HR systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- Customer Service and/or HR generalist or related field experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with quickly changing environments
- Customer focused with a growth and process improvement mind-set
- Ability to effectively interact and collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to communicate clearly and problem solve
- Ability to critically examine data and information for accuracy prior to processing
- Ability to work discretely with sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to approach work with a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and strong follow-up skills
- HR Generalist experience
- Workday experience
- Experience with Excel
- Familiarity with both union and non-union work groups
