About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • responsible for driving the data analytics and domain strategy at DTFS
  • consulting with business areas on business information needs
  • translating business needs into analytics/BI requirements
  • developing the analytics/BI solution and interfacing with the business area
  • mentoring, training, and direction of other BI (Band 91s) and contractors
  • serving as data steward and advanced technical support for supported business areas
  • creating/maintaining technical design documentation
  • supporting the management reporting needs of business areas in both U.S. and Canada
  • working with business areas to provide leadership on independent initiatives
  • developing/maintaining dashboards, analytics, and other data visualizations
  • collaborating with IT partners and business partners in support of month end processes
  • managing the framework for the reporting environment
  • optimizing performance of BI solutions through working with ETL and DBA resources
  • partnering with the business, IT, and the DIAA to drive the BI environment
  • leading EPM and Data Domain owned projects
  • developing and maintaining curated data sets needed to support the Advanced Analytics group use cases
  • contributing to the short- and long-term strategic approach for the Data Domain.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree and prefer 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • 3 years working in Data, Analytics, and reporting
  • SQL (non RDBMS Specific)
  • Data Visualization
  • Reporting
  • Working with Structured Data stored in a RDBMS
  • Experience with Python, SAS Programming, Alteryx, AI, Cognos Analytics, Cognos Framework, Cognos Transformer, Tableau, MS Power BI, Data Management and Governance, Finance (automotive industry), Palantir Foundry
