About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage Engineering projects.
- Create detailed project timing plans and work closely with Engineering and other departments to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate and facilitate project-related meetings such as status reviews, design reviews, mockup reviews, and visual management meetings
- Publish minutes and track action items
- Identify risks and escalate to management when appropriate.
- Prepare project status reports and present CVDS gate updates to project committees
- Assess feasibility, budget and timing for future product development project
- Recommend scope changes to maximize return on investment
- Recommend and assist with implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Use and support the DTNA Visual Management process for running Projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of experience OR 6+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
- self-motivated, proactive individual with strong communication skills
- demonstrated skills in project management processes
- knowledge of product development processes
- experience preparing and giving presentations
- excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- good networking skills and a strong interest in Project Management
- ability to work with SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software packages
- ability to handle multiple, detailed tasks and work professionally with various levels of DTNA management
- ability to work in an environment of ambiguity & ongoing change
- high level of oral and written communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- analytical and problem-solving ability.
