About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage Engineering projects.
  • Create detailed project timing plans and work closely with Engineering and other departments to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget
  • Coordinate and facilitate project-related meetings such as status reviews, design reviews, mockup reviews, and visual management meetings
  • Publish minutes and track action items
  • Identify risks and escalate to management when appropriate.
  • Prepare project status reports and present CVDS gate updates to project committees
  • Assess feasibility, budget and timing for future product development project
  • Recommend scope changes to maximize return on investment
  • Recommend and assist with implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Use and support the DTNA Visual Management process for running Projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of experience OR 6+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • self-motivated, proactive individual with strong communication skills
  • demonstrated skills in project management processes
  • knowledge of product development processes
  • experience preparing and giving presentations
  • excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • good networking skills and a strong interest in Project Management
  • ability to work with SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software packages
  • ability to handle multiple, detailed tasks and work professionally with various levels of DTNA management
  • ability to work in an environment of ambiguity & ongoing change
  • high level of oral and written communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
  • analytical and problem-solving ability.
