About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure products are in compliance with external regulations and internal standards
- File product notifications, approval applications, and quality testing results with applicable government and regulatory agencies
- Track regulatory and legislative developments and cascade relevant developments to business stakeholders
- Interpret and evaluate proposed regulations and legislation and advises management on impact to the organization
- Implement and audit processes to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards
- Provide advice to development and/or marketing teams on product changes, quality testing requirements, product labelling, literature, and advertising
- Represent DTNA externally in various forums including trade groups
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or Public Policy preferred) and 5-7 years of relevant experience is required.
- Strong communication including written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze and distill technical topics into business impacts
- Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives
- Strong intrapersonal skills with the ability to create a network within DTNA
- Self-motivated and ability to prioritize and work independently
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to uncertainty and changing targets
