About the role

  • Ensure financial accuracy and operational compliance for Daimler Truck Financial Services’ U.S. and Canadian portfolios.
  • Manage payment reconciliation, title/PPSA administration, and adherence to internal controls and global policies.
  • Maintain payment integrity, validating contract obligations before title/security interest release, and resolving discrepancies to mitigate risk.
  • Drive process integrity and continuous improvement through guidance, training, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration, enabling operational excellence and risk mitigation across the organization.
  • Resolve complex title issues including lienholder discrepancies, ownership details, filing errors, and deficient titles to ensure accuracy, compliance, and perfected security interests across U.S. and Canadian portfolios.
  • Facilitate collateral title activities such as rewrites, lease‑to‑retail conversions, ownership transfers, and repossession title processing to reduce risk and support timely asset disposition.
  • Maintain operational excellence by updating workflows, documentation, and work instructions, and providing training to ensure consistent processes and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Customer Service, Collections, Lease Maturities, Bankruptcy, Sales, Credit teams, and external partners to resolve title challenges and ensure alignment on perfection requirements.
  • Ensure payment integrity through accurate processing of applications, terminations, refunds, and discrepancy resolution, while leading daily Fleet reconciliation and managing suspense accounts.
  • Safeguard compliance by validating requirements prior to title release, executing terminations, monitoring aged items, and ensuring timely release of security interests in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Support governance and risk controls by verifying authority limits for refunds and waivers and ensuring adherence to internal policies across U.S. and Canadian operations.
  • Support issue resolution by partnering with Fleet Workout, Collections, Lease Maturities, NASC, and Funding teams to maintain operational efficiency and mitigate risk.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelors Degree
  • Typically requires a 0-2 years of relevant experience or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Requires basic understanding of theories, practices, and procedures related to job field
  • Works within standard practices and procedures to analyze information and problems of limited scope
  • Works within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines
  • Title release procedures and documentation standards.
  • Title discrepancy resolution (e.g., lienholder, name, address, filing state).
  • Attention to detail and time management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
