About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You coordinate complex complaint and warranty issues across sites, vehicle series and component groups, with an initial focus on mechatronic systems such as transmissions, clutches, retarders, pneumatic (compressed-air) and brake systems.
  • You analyze complex quality anomalies in the field and, based on quality data, technical experience and modern analysis methods, derive concrete actions.
  • You lead cross-divisional meetings to review, assess and prepare field complaints as part of our fault feedback process.
  • You manage issues across the entire process chain — from root-cause analysis through component and process optimizations to effectiveness verification — in close cooperation with the responsible departments, suppliers and customers.
  • You prepare decision papers for production and field measures, taking into account both technical and economic aspects.
  • You contribute ideas to further develop our ways of working and evaluate new methods and digital possibilities, for example in the areas of data analysis and generative AI, for their practical benefit to our area.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
  • Good technical understanding of vehicle systems and in-depth knowledge of one or more mechatronic systems such as transmission, clutch, retarder, pneumatic (compressed-air) or braking systems
  • Practical experience with quality management and quality assurance methods
  • Strong communication skills, a confident presence and enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration and coordination
  • Ability to present and communicate complex technical topics clearly and convincingly in German and English
  • Analytical thinking, an affinity for data analysis and ideally initial experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI, programming or generative AI.
