About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and Sustain Processes: Support CoC for Continuous Improvement on DFMEA process to identify potential design failure modes, assess their impact on product performance, and prioritize areas for improvement.
Train Team Members: Support CoC lead to conduct training sessions and develop training materials to educate team members on these processes, ensuring a thorough understanding and its effective application in product development.
Review Work Products for conformance: Regularly review work products to ensure its effectiveness and compliance with the latest industry standards and internal best practices.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement efforts in the process to improve product quality, reliability, and safety along with other stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of DFMEA / MSR methodologies.
Familiarity with ISO 26262 Functional Safety standards.
Excellent training and communication skills.
Self-starter, Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
2+ years of experience in Safety Analysis Methods.
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
2+ years of automotive or Truck product development experience
Hands-on DFMEA / MSR experience
Automotive E/E system knowledge
Prior experience in applying ISO 26262 Functional Safety
Familiarity with DFMEA software tools like IQ-FMEA, Isograph, Datalyzer or similar.
Project Management and technical paper writing skills
