About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and Sustain Processes: Support CoC for Continuous Improvement on DFMEA process to identify potential design failure modes, assess their impact on product performance, and prioritize areas for improvement.
  • Train Team Members: Support CoC lead to conduct training sessions and develop training materials to educate team members on these processes, ensuring a thorough understanding and its effective application in product development.
  • Review Work Products for conformance: Regularly review work products to ensure its effectiveness and compliance with the latest industry standards and internal best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement efforts in the process to improve product quality, reliability, and safety along with other stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of DFMEA / MSR methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ISO 26262 Functional Safety standards.
  • Excellent training and communication skills.
  • Self-starter, Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • 2+ years of experience in Safety Analysis Methods.
  • Exceptional Candidates Might Have
  • 2+ years of automotive or Truck product development experience
  • Hands-on DFMEA / MSR experience
  • Automotive E/E system knowledge
  • Prior experience in applying ISO 26262 Functional Safety
  • Familiarity with DFMEA software tools like IQ-FMEA, Isograph, Datalyzer or similar.
  • Project Management and technical paper writing skills
