After-Sales Specialist, High-Voltage Charging
Daimler Truck AGAftersales responsibility for high voltage charging systems in alternative drive vehicles at Daimler Buses. Ensuring system functionality and implementing quality strategies for customer service and parts.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- After-sales responsibility for the charging system in our vehicles with alternative powertrains:
- Support and ownership of the high-voltage charging system within Customer Services & Parts, with the objective of ensuring continuous operational functionality and passing necessary system developments to product development.
- Provide second-level support for service partners in the area of high-voltage charging by analyzing complex fault patterns and performing structured diagnostics (e.g., evaluation of log data or remote signals).
- Develop and implement strategies, processes, concepts, and trainings to ensure the highest quality of support for high-voltage charging systems across Europe.
- Represent the company’s interpretation of charging communication vis-à-vis charger and depot management system manufacturers, as well as end customers. Coordinate between internal partners (Development, Daimler Buses Solutions GmbH, Sales, etc.) and external partners (charger manufacturers, grid operators, charge management system providers, customers, etc.).
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree (University of Applied Sciences / university) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field
- Several years of experience in customer-facing roles and with high-voltage charging technologies, including charging communication, charging infrastructure and charge management systems
- Methodical and structured working approach, strong team skills and a high degree of self-initiative
- Very good German and English skills
- Basic willingness to travel within Europe
