HR Apprentice
Daimler Truck AGHR Apprentice joining Daimler Truck UK for hands-on HR experience in a commercial setting. Supporting various HR functions with apprenticeship opportunities available for development.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supporting day-to-day HR administration, ensuring records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
- Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing a professional and helpful service.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Assisting with reward and benefits activities, including our company car scheme and benefits administration.
- Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Using HR systems and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting employee relations administration with a high level of confidentiality. Building strong relationships across the business and developing an understanding of how HR supports operational success.
Requirements
What you’ll need- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills and a willingness to learn new HR systems.
- Eligibility to undertake a Level 3 or Level 5 HR Apprenticeship.
- Strong organisational skills and can manage multiple tasks at once.
- Thrive in a busy environment and can prioritise effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident, professional, and approachable in your communication.
- Proactive, curious, and not afraid to ask questions or challenge how things are done.
- Genuine passion for HR and people.
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Resilient and able to adapt to changing priorities.
