About the role
- supporting core financial services application platforms across the organisation, including customer point-of-sale systems, credit decisioning, wholesale, and contract management solutions
- resolving incidents, problems, and requests
- supporting the production and development environments
- supporting development and project activities
- complying with Daimler Security and Compliance requirements
- assisting with management of BAU Vendors
Requirements
- relevant experience in a similar role, supporting a broad range of applications and systems
- degree qualified, preferably in IT
- relevant industry experience
- prior experience supporting data centre–hosted applications built on multi-tier architectures, including web servers, application servers, and SQL database servers
- strong understanding of application dependencies, server roles, and operational requirements within enterprise environments
- basic understanding of ITIL
- confidence with all IT Infrastructure and Security topics
