About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You acquire new customers for our charging infrastructure solutions and develop existing customer relationships for the long term.
  • You build long-term partnerships with customers and understand their technical, operational, and commercial requirements.
  • You analyze customer needs and, together with internal and external specialists, develop tailored solution concepts for charging infrastructure projects.
  • You support customers from the initial contact through needs assessment and concept development to contract signing and subsequent handover to the project team.
  • You position yourself as a trusted advisor and support customers in strategic decisions related to electromobility, infrastructure development, and depot concepts.
  • You coordinate the preparation of proposals, profitability assessments, and technical solution concepts.
  • You develop and implement sales strategies for your region and identify new potential with existing and new customers.
  • You conduct contract and price negotiations through to successful closing.
  • You represent Daimler Buses Solutions at customer meetings, events, and trade shows.
  • You identify suitable funding programs and support customers in applying for and implementing the corresponding funding measures.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in sales, business development, key account management, or in supporting complex customers with technically sophisticated products or services.
  • You hold a degree in business administration or engineering, or alternatively a commercial and/or technical vocational qualification.
  • You bring experience in selling capital goods, technical system solutions, infrastructure projects, or consulting-intensive services.
  • Ideally, you have experience working with tenders and proposal processes.
  • You have prior exposure to electromobility, charging infrastructure, energy supply, construction projects, or technical infrastructure.
  • You have a proven track record in acquiring new customers and expanding long-term customer relationships.
  • You are able to bring together various internal and external stakeholders.
  • You are a communicative and sales-oriented personality who enjoys approaching people, building customer relationships, and developing new business opportunities.
  • You present yourself confidently, communicate persuasively at different levels, and can win over both technical and commercial stakeholders for your ideas.
  • You possess negotiation skills, a strong ability to close deals, and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • You work independently and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment.
  • You are willing to travel regularly to customer meetings within your region (approx. 2 days per week) and, if required, across Germany.
  • You have very good German and English language skills.
  • You demonstrate a high degree of initiative, teamwork, and flexibility.
