About the role
- Lead federal and military program management from pre-sales through implementation and long-term support
- Serve as a trusted advisor to federal partners (DoD, VA, Navy, Army, etc.), managing complex stakeholder relationships across program offices, IT, HR/payroll, and procurement
- Partner with VP of Public Sector to shape and execute DailyPay’s go-to-market strategy across defense and federal verticals
- Translate agency needs into clear product requirements and success metrics, working with internal cross-functional teams (product, engineering, legal, compliance)
- Support the development of strategic pilots, SBIR/STTR opportunities, IL4/FedRAMP compliance, and procurement pathways
- Manage program reporting, governance, and performance for executive sponsors
- Mentor internal teams on the nuances of federal delivery, contracting, and stakeholder management
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in federal program management, ideally with both pre-sales and delivery ownership
- Demonstrated experience working with military and/or federal government clients (DoD, VA, HHS, GSA, etc.)
- Proven success leading mission-critical government technology programs from inception through execution
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer engagement skills
- Ability to operate independently and thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment
- Military experience and/or significant public sector leadership experience is strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of government procurement, contracting vehicles, and compliance (nice to have)
- Experience with ERP, HR/payroll, or financial wellness technologies in government settings (nice to have)
