About the role

  • Take care of the network domain by demonstrating strong expertise in LANs, WANs, firewall management, proxy services, remote access and network security
  • Provide valuable insights for network architecture and design and stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Oversee incident management and ensure adherence to SLAs
  • Communicate with the business during outages to provide updates and resolutions
  • Coordinate and manage small changes within the IT environment (change management)
  • Establish, maintain, and ensure compliance with IT processes
  • Align processes with internal policies and practices, and continuously improve their efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate closely with internal technical teams and external partners

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Cisco enterprise routing & switching concepts
  • Expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and other core network protocols
  • Firewall concepts (access control, IPS, web filtering, …) are well-known to you
  • Broad knowledge of SASE solutions (Palo Alto platform) & VPN technologies
  • Familiar with Arista/VeloCloud SD-WAN deployment
  • Awareness of cybersecurity best practices
  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Dutch (written & spoken)
  • Willingness to travel for short business trips abroad
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITILv4, CompTIA+ are a plus
