About the role
- Overseeing and developing the team that oversees relationships with key clients to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Work with clients to understand their needs and create customized solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and prices, and provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with internal teams to coordinate resources and ensure customer needs are met.
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
- Participate in daily business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required.
- Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.
- Identify market trends and new ways to improve customer satisfaction & loyalty.
- Train our company owned employees and independent distributors in the expectations to support National Accounts strategic objectives.
- Identify and communicate competitor activities and other industry activities that affect product management and sales growth.
- Guide the strategic direction, coordination, sales, and profitability of assigned national accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing in the creation of robust national and local marketing strategies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of account management
- Demonstrated Sales and Negotiation Skills, preferably in a services-driven environment.
- Proven track record in the areas of risk management, HSE, security or project management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proven sales ability at all levels within an organization.
- Extensive use of all MS suite of products.
- Project Management is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business
