About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Carry out the import process from shipment of goods to delivery of customs-cleared goods at the final warehouse, aiming to reduce delivery lead times and import costs
Review import documents, liaise with exporters, verify LPCO and DUIMP, perform tariff (tax) classification and handle other process-specific requirements
Monitor the entire import process: control and release shipments, request DUIMP (via Sicomex) and/or other licenses, handle foreign exchange settlement, and negotiate with freight forwarders and customs brokers, as well as follow up on production status at origin. Responsible from the import request through final delivery
Keep the process updated in the system and in control spreadsheets, providing the commercial area with visibility on the status of each item
Monitor export processes (prepare documentation, request pickup, customs clearance and shipment)
Prepare cost estimates for import processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in International Trade (Comércio Exterior) or related field
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of import and export procedures, and customs laws and regulations
Desirable: experience with ERP TOTVS, TecWin and NPI (New Import Process – DUIMP)
Intermediate English
