About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and support the PATT workstream, with a primary focus on the Absence workstream
Research and resolve day to day Workday PATT process and configuration issues
Work with HR and business stakeholders to support new requirements for PATT in Workday and create and update Workday configurations and enhancements
Responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of new Unions and MORs within the PATT workspaces within Workday
Provide post payroll support, general ledger posting, bank transfer and paychecks in Workday
Manage, create and provide support for required PATT reporting, including support for year-end reporting and other year-end activities in Workday
Identify strategies, risks and options and recommend approaches and mitigations
Support innovation through the creation of new industry-leading methods
Thoroughly test configurations through unit testing and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT)
Deliver knowledge transfer and change management of system modifications
Manage Workday release enhancements to ensure technical and functional requirements are tested and adopted in a timely manner

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education Level 4 Year / Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience of which a minimum of 5 years of Workday configuration experience in PATT functions
Strong US payroll process knowledge
Workday PATT experience, with a focus on Absence
Project Management experience
Demonstrate knowledge of HR function & processes
Strong Canadian payroll process knowledge
Experience with configuring Union specifications within the PATT workstream
Experience with Payroll software such as ADP SmartCompliance, ADP eTime, Oracle Finance
