• Strategic Inventory Planning: Collaborate with Store Managers to develop and maintain an optimal product mix for stores
• Lead forecasting efforts to tailor product offerings using evolving market demands and KPIs to stock new stores
• Materials Management: Own the Materials Management Scorecard, tracking KPIs such as Inventory Turnover, Average Days to Sell, Stockout Rate, and Back Order Rate
• Manage the purchase order process, including external sourcing and intercompany transfers
• Oversee regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts as required
• Ensure accurate inventory adjustments supporting store inventory requests
• Supplier and Distribution Oversight: Maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to enhance returns processes
• Enforce supplier standards for distribution, analyzing trends to continuously improve supplier performance
• Manage Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory processes across all sites
• Ensure accurate setup and inventory pulling for kits, managing First-In-First-Out (FIFO) strategies effectively
• Analytics and Continuous Improvement: Monitor all system material issues, taking corrective actions as needed
• Partner with the finance department to manage annual cycle count strategies and inventory rebalancing
• Utilize inventory analysis to drive decisions based on SKU family and classifications
• Leadership and Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, including finance, operations, and store management teams, to ensure alignment and clear communication of materials management strategies
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team feedback, innovating processes, and conducting regular reviews
