About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop business plans, strategies and objectives to ensure quotas and financial plans are met or exceeded
- Develop plans and align work and resources so that customer needs, contractual obligations, and service work are completed within appropriate timeframes and meet quality expectations
- Manage district P&L and deliver on financial goals, including revenue and operating income
- Lead Account Managers enabling growth in service and repair, complex turnkey, building automation and energy solution projects
- Build and maintain rapport with internal and external business partners to ensure sales objectives are communicated and achieved
- Drive implementation of Daikin culture, including prioritization of safety and People-Centered Management, for the district
- Provide leadership for the service team, including Service Coordinators, Account Managers, and Technicians
- Coach and develop employees to maximize performance and potential
- Manage performance through recognition, regular feedback, performance reviews and/or corrective action
- Recruit, interview, hire, and ensure training for new employees; encourage ongoing training and skill development
- Solicit and apply customer feedback, both internal and external
- Manage company assets and inventory to ensure proper cost control and operational efficiency
- Ensure the local office complies with all federal, state, and local legal regulations and statutes, including prevailing wage, legal posting requirements, and safety regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years related experience and/or training within the commercial HVAC service industry or parallel industry
- 10+ years of related experience preferred
- 4+ years of people leadership experience both direct and/or indirect
- Leadership experience in Service, Sales, and Operations
- Previous experience working with financial statements and managing P&L in excess of $5M
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law
