About the role

  • Supervise financial routines for Transportation, including verification, validation and approval of freight invoices.
  • Ensure accuracy of payment flows to carriers, monitoring deadlines, inconsistencies and discrepancies.
  • Track and control the annual transportation budget, analyzing variances, trends and risks.
  • Lead internal and external audits related to freight, contracts and financial controls.
  • Monitor and optimize financial KPIs for Transportation (cost per ton, cost per route, Budget vs. Actual, etc.).
  • Perform financial performance analyses and propose improvements to reduce costs and optimize processes.
  • Implement and maintain systems and tools (TMS, ERP, freight payment platforms).
  • Work with suppliers to resolve financial issues and align contractual terms.
  • Ensure tax compliance in freight processes (ISS, ICMS, PIS/COFINS and credits).
  • Lead, coach and develop the Transportation finance team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Logistics or related fields
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and presentation tools
