About the role
- Strategic planning and expansion of the sales division, including the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Leading, motivating and developing the sales team to maximize performance.
- Analyzing sales figures of all sales representatives and developing measures to improve performance.
- Providing targeted training for individual employees.
- Conducting market and competitor analyses to identify market opportunities and respond to trends and changes.
- Collaborating with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Product Development) to optimize product offerings and marketing strategies.
- Monitoring sales performance and preparing regular reports for senior management.
- Accountability for meeting sales targets and budgets.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in a sales leadership role, ideally in the building materials or a related industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to make strategic decisions.
- Experience in customer acquisition and developing customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
- Technical affinity and interest in building materials and the construction industry.
